Payment Options
We accept payment by cash or e-transfer, and we’re happy to accommodate Mastercard, Visa, and debit cards as well. At the time of booking, we require your credit card details to confirm your reservation, cover any potential damages, and manage cancellations. Payment can be made anytime from booking up until check-out.
A receipt will be provided for all transactions. Please note that a 13% HST and a 4% municipal tax will be applied to your reservation.

Cancellation
Cancellation Policy
At Norfolk Guesthouse, we are a small boutique property and each reservation is carefully prepared and reserved specifically for our guests. As cancellations can significantly impact small independent accommodations, we kindly ask for your understanding of the following policy.
For reservations made through third-party booking platforms, including:
all cancellations or reservation changes must be processed directly through the original booking platform and are subject to both their policies and Norfolk Guesthouse cancellation terms
Reservations canceled more than 7 days prior to the arrival date will incur no charges, and your credit card will not be billed.
Cancellations Within 7 Days of Arrival
For cancellations made 7 days before arrival, the total reservation cost will be charged.

Early Departures
No refunds are issued for early check-outs.
Date Changes
Guests wishing to reschedule their stay may do so if the request is made more than 7 days before the arrival date. For date changes made within 7 days of arrival, a $50 administrative fee applies and full rate of the reservation. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Group Bookings
Cancellation policies for group reservations, including weddings and events, will be outlined and agreed upon at the time of booking. Typically, staggered deadlines apply (e.g., partial refunds up to 14 days before arrival).
Room Availability
We are committed to providing rooms as reserved by our guests. However, if the room you selected becomes unavailable for any reason, we will provide a room of equal or greater value at no additional cost. We reserve the right to adjust reservations to a room within the same category or higher.

Complimentary Onsite Parking for your convenience. One space per room. Large vehicles are encouraged to park overnight on Queen Street no charge. Space is limited.
Beverage Bar: Enjoy complimentary hot and cold beverages, including teas, hot chocolate, and instant coffee, available 24/7. located on the main floor and on the second floor
Smart TVs with cable in every room, so you can stay entertained during your stay.
We do not provide ice. Each room has access to or fridge in their room.

Amenities/Breakfast
No Smoking Policy
To ensure a pleasant experience for all of our guests, we have a no smoking policy inside any rooms and on the Penthouse or Grandview balconies. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if this policy is not followed. For those who wish to smoke, a designated smoking area is provided at the front of the building.

To ensure a restful experience for all guests, quiet hours are observed from 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

Damage Policy
As the registered guest, you are responsible for any damages caused by accidental neglect or carelessness. If any repairs or replacements are necessary, the associated costs will be charged to the credit card on file.
We inspect all rooms prior to guest arrivals, but if you notice anything that needs attention upon check-in, please let us know right away so we can address it. If any damage prevents us from renting the room to other guests, the cost of those lost nights will be added to your bill.

Norfolk Guesthouse is designed to provide a peaceful, private experience for registered guests.
Only registered guests are permitted on the property. Chat with your host if planning to have family over.
Parties, events, or gatherings are not permitted. We rent out our property for special events , birthday parties , wedding, however guests are not permitted to host their own parties without permission . It’s not an air bnb.
🐾 Pets at Norfolk Guesthouse
We are pleased to welcome well-behaved pets by prior arrangement.To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, the following guidelines apply:
A $35 pet fee per stay applies
Pets must be approved in advance of arrival
Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms
Pets must be leashed in all common areas
We kindly ask that pets are kept off beds and furniture
Bring your own pet bed and blanket
Out of respect for other guests, excessive noise or disruptive behaviour is not permitted. We look forward to welcoming both you and your furry companion!
